libapache2-mod-passenger software package provides Rails and Rack support for Apache2, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libapache2-mod-passenger
libapache2-mod-passenger is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libapache2-mod-passenger package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libapache2-mod-passenger *
You will get with libapache2-mod-passenger package name, version, architecture and description in a table
